Micro DC I-Series

Micro DC I-Series – A redefined
server room infrastructure

As companies expand their IT infrastructure, the number of servers eventually exceeds capacity, requiring additional racks for new hardware. With rising hardware investments, it is essential to create environments that ensure efficient server operation and hardware longevity. For organizations building small server rooms, the traditional data center design and build process can be time-consuming and complex, especially for setups with lesser than 10 server racks. Often, customers incur unnecessary expenses on features like raised floors and extensive room fit-outs. Additionally, attempts to cut costs can introduce energy inefficiencies. A micro data center offers a streamlined solution, ensuring optimal operation of high-end server hardware.

Pre-designed solution to save time and expenses

STULZ Micro DC I-Series offers a high-quality, pre-designed approach that uses 50% less floor space and can be deployed in just a quarter of the time compared to traditional server room designs. Specifically designed for hosting 1 to 8 IT racks, this efficient system reduces the risk associated with the extensive engineering required for custom installations, saving both time and money. This solution is pre-fabricated and ready to be shipped, assembled, and integrated at customer premises, providing a streamlined, cost-effective, and high-performance server room setup.

Server room in a rack

A pre-designed and pre-fabricated solution

STULZ helps you determine your server room requirements, works with you to configure the data center from the available micro data center designs, and provides complete installation and testing services. STULZ is the single point of contact and manages the project from start to finish, providing a robust “turnkey server room”. This helps customers focus on their core business and reduces the need to divert key personnel to a project they may have limited experience with.

Cooling options

In-rack cooling

This stand-alone solution, with one or two racks as standard, contains all the important components of a data center in a purpose-built housing. Rack, cable management, UPS, power supply, cooling, monitoring and fire protection can be integrated as standard. The cooling components are integrated in the rack in a U-mounted arrangement at the bottom of the rack or in the side of the rack in a Zero U arrangement, without the need for U space.

Zero U cooling option allows more space to be allocated to servers as it does not take up any U space.

Scalability: The STULZ Micro DC I-Series offers an incomparable level of scalability that makes it possible to grow along with requirements.

Solution
• Rack height options : 32U / 42U / 47U / 52U
• Rack width options : 800 mm
• Rack depth options : 1,200 mm
